The Consult Guys - Strokes and Surgery: What and When Are the Risks?

This was probably the best "Consult Guys" presentation to date. Very informative with regards the nuances of perioperative assessment. I would have been interested in hearing whether or not the consultants favored "bridging" the patient's anticoagulation versus withholding for a few days before surgery and resuming the day after surgery. As you well know, a recent study suggested that bridging leads to more complications that not bridging. Would that apply to the patient presented?
