The annual training sessions for personnel in the author's cardiac catheterization laboratory provided the foundation for this text. Contributors include staff cardiologists, cardiology fellows, nurses, and technologists. All but 2 of the 14 chapters are authored or co-authored by physicians, and Bashore contributes to 7.
