Fifteen diabetic children have been treated systematically with synthalin for over a year, and it has, therefore, been possible to make a more accurate judgment as to the effect upon the carbohydrate tolerance of the peroral use of this anti-diabetic remedy and as to the toxic effect upon the child's organism of its protracted use.
