The Committee appointed by the American Otological Society, in 1925, undertook to make a complete resumé of the literature on Otosclerosis. These volumes present the results of this work. Any comment on, or criticism of, the subject matter has been purposely avoided. The resources of the largest libraries in the United States―the Surgeon-General's Library and the Library of the New York Academy of Medicine―have been used in the compilation of this work.
