This book is an extraordinary collection of pathological ignorance and misconceptions. The general character of the pathology is shown in the statement that old age "is a disease, due to the inroads of the chronic infections which the individual has picked up during his life time." The pathology of neoplasm is of the same grade of value. The case made out for the value of radium in the treatment of cancer is far from being convincing.
