This little book is in truth an interesting review of female sex hormonology. The author first deals with the very earliest work which proved the ovary to be a gland of internal secretion. He briefly reviews the sex cycles in animals. After discussing the cycle in the ovary, he describes the uterine cycle and its correlation with that of the ovary. This relationship is clearly illustrated with diagrams.
