As the special train of the American College of Physicians made its way westward, gathering small increments at various junction points but with its total passenger list not exceeding seventy-five persons, the statement was frequently heard that it was exceedingly unfortunate that for this year of all years a far-western city had been chosen as the place of meeting of the College.
