Extracts were made from the medulla, cortex and whole substance of suprarenal glands of oxen and horses, of the medulla and whole glands of pigs, and of the whole gland of rabbits. The epinephrin content of these extracts was estimated by means of the colorimetric method of Folin, Cannon and Denis; that of Suto; the rabbit intestine segment method; the blood pressure of the pithed dog; the cat paradoxical pupil reaction; the perfusion of toads' legs and rabbits' ears. The results obtained are presented in tabular form. The suprarenal gland of the horse gave similar values for epinephrin regardless of
