In a previous article1 in 1930 we reported nine cases of primary carcinoma of the liver seen at the Vancouver General Hospital between 1920 to 1927, inclusive. Eight of these were Chinese and one a white man. We now add three additional cases seen in the four years, 1928 to 1931, of which two are Chinese and one white this total of twelve cases of undoubted primary carcinoma of the liver in the twelve year period is large, and is an indication of the extreme frequency of this type of malignancy among these Chinese.
