Dietary invalidism is an extremely large subject, with many ramifications, and it is impossible to make a thoroughly comprehensive survey of it in a talk of this kind. Naturally, since my practice is limited to the treatment of patients with diabetes, I think first of the examples I have encountered in my own experience. I shall begin by citing a few illustrative cases and problems observed in a diabetic practice which serve to bring forth some of the aspects of dietary invalidism.
