There were nine short, intensive postgraduate courses on the Autumn, 1950, schedule, five of which have already been concluded. In each instance, the courses given were either over-subscribed or more than the minimal quota reached.
Course No. 6, PERIPHERAL VASCULAR DISEASES INCLUDING HYPERTENSION, under the direction of Dr. Walter F. Kvale, Mayo Clinic and Mayo Foundation, Rochester, Minn., opens on November 27 and has been over-subscribed.
The remaining courses are as follows:
Course No. 7, GASTRO-ENTEROLOGY; Henry L. Bockus, M.D., F.A.C.P., Director; University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa.; December 4-9, 1950.
