This monograph deals with the prompt diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular emergencies. It lists the drugs needed for this purpose in the physician's bag. It concerns the arrhythmias, acute pulmonary edema, congestive heart failure, angina pectoris, coronary occlusion, coronary insufficiency, syncope, hypertensive crises, and other conditions. The occasional brief case presentation adds interest to the text.
