This new handbook on the practice of allergy is a distinctly valuable addition to the library. It is a well written and well produced book, with a somewhat different emphasis from that of other allergic texts.
If this book has a single outstanding characteristic, it is that it is essentially practical. In keeping with this, particular emphasis is placed on such subjects as pollen and mold identification, the preparation of testing and treatment extracts and the inventory of necessary equipment for an allergist's office.
