This fascicle of the Atlas of Tumor Pathology offers a sound summary of present knowledge concerning the pathology of pituitary gland tumors. The relative frequency of these tumors is stressed.
A review of the gross and microscopic anatomy orients the reader for the ensuing pathological study. Case histories document typical clinical experiences. The photographic plates are technically superior. Free use of synonyms facilitates the use of the text by those accustomed to varied terminologies.
This publication will be a useful reference for pathologists, neurologists and neurosurgeons.
