Doctor William G. Lennox, frequently referred to as the "Father of Epilepsy," has assembled this extensive work on epilepsy, incorporating in it his more than 38 years of experience. Collaborating with his daughter, Doctor Margaret A. Lennox, he has included a list of 782 references and 346 books on epilepsy in this two-volume, 1,168 page publication.
Volume I outlines the pertinent history, manifestations, and classification of the epilepsies and other disorders which are so similar as to make differentiation difficult. Except for a few minor details, the classification is that proposed by the author, Doctor F. A. Gibbs, and E.
