Dr. Cooper has again summarized his unparalleled experience in the surgical treatment of parkinsonism even though some of his material is now largely of historical value, for example, the chapter on ligation of the anterior choroidal artery, a technique which even Dr. Cooper, initiator of the technique, has abandoned for more sophisticated procedures.
