Of the many books written on radioactive isotopes this pair undoubtedly provides the most comprehensive treatment. Unfortunately, most of the book is in German, and the tremendous amount of information it contains is therefore unavailable to those who cannot read scientific German with facility. There are twenty-six chapters in English and one in French (Biochemistry of Thyroid Hormones, by J. Roche and R. Michel).
