The standard title does not indicate the diversified material to be found in this volume. X-ray changes and associated clinical observations are well supported by up-to-date reference material; but of special interest are the frequent comments documented by the authors' personal experiences. These interpretations suggest years of skillful, accurate observation of both patients and X rays, catalyzed by a strong interest in basic pathophysiology. Interesting and provocative correlations seldom found in standard textbooks have resulted.
