Dr. Freeman and several other past presidents of the Gerontological Society agreed, three years ago, that it could be useful to assemble in one volume the facts that are known regarding the use of drugs in older patients. Dr. Freeman secured the help of twenty-six contributors, interpreted them liberally out of his long experience in teaching geriatrics, and now publishes this book with financial assistance from the Ford Foundation and other agencies.
