This unusually complete and profusely illustrated text on the roentgen diagnosis of the chest consists of five major sections: "Diseases of the Heart and Great Vessels," "Diseases of the Lungs," "Diseases of the Pleura," "Diseases of the Mediastinum," and "Diseases of the Diaphragm." Each of these sections comprises a number of subdivisions; the whole admirably covering the roentgen manifestations of the entire spectrum of chest disease. In addition to the numerous illustrations, a number of excellent diagrams and tables elucidate the text. The reader, with even a limited knowledge of German, will find most of the legends easy to understand.
