The physician seeking information on problems other than the everyday sort is often confronted with an annoying situation. The standard texts, in laying out brief and rather diffuse paragraphs on the subject, serve only to whet the appetite. What bibliography exists commonly refers to articles in specialty journals not readily at hand, articles with titles that afford no assurance that once tracked down they will be of real help in the solution of the immediate problem.
