Approximately 100 cases of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome have been reported to date, and most of these descriptions have dealt with the external manifestations of this disease. The internal manifestations have not been investigated to any significant extent.
The purpose of this report is to present a case that exhibited internal abnormalities not previously reported. It describes severe hemoptysis of 4-yr duration, associated with unusual bronchial findings.
A 28-year-old Caucasian male was admitted to the hospital on August 12, 1963, complaining of hemoptysis and right anterior chest pain of 3 days duration. The sputum was described as being bright red
