This short review of electrocardiography embodies Dr. Blake's intent to introduce the subject in an understandable manner for beginning students in electrocardiography. The material presented in this monograph is a reflection of the present-day thinking in electrocardiography. The book is well-written and has been liberally illustrated with clear and understandable legends. Unfortunately, for the sake of brevity many important concepts cannot be gleaned from this text nor can one become knowledgeable in the broad field of electrocardiography from a careful study of this monograph.
