Heat is one of the oldest and most universally used forms of therapy, with its greatest benefit in the relief of musculoskeletal symptoms. In this edition were added two timely and useful chapters on that aspect of heat known as cold. The chapter on fever therapy was omitted. Physicians, teachers, and physical therapists will find this book valuable both as a textbook and a reference. It belongs in all medical libraries.
