To the Editor: The admirable tabulation of sources of acute food poisoning furnished by Drs. Rose and Rieders (ANNALS, February, 1966), should have included the pompano or mahimahi under the fishes capable of poisoning people with histamine, the so-called scombroid fish poisoning.
