This volume is the first of a series of reviews intended to be up-to-date perspectives in the treatment of patients. The first volume concerns itself with the treatment of cancer patients. Most of the articles are very brief with a minimum amount of actual data and relatively little bibliography. Several chapters, however, are very complete and stand out as excellent contributions to the medical literature. This includes the initial chapter by Dr. Koprowski on "Viruses in Cancer," a review by Dr. Henry Bockus in "Polyps of the Colon," and a review of "Carcinoma of the Lung" by Dr. William Blakemore.
