In monograph form, the author has attempted to collect and interpret experimentally induced disorders in animals and clinical diseases in men that exhibit common denominators of thrombosis or hemorrhage or both as their end-stage microlesion. The nucleus for this text arose from a compilation of the world literature upon thrombohemorrhagic states, prepared by Dr. Selye and his coworkers.
