To the Editor: I found your editorial in the August issue of the ANNALS one of great interest. As one whose work has been in the field of medical oncology and as a man committed not only to scientific and medical ideals but to religious ones as well, I have faced the moral issues of investigational medicine for some years. Besides the three basic requirements you propose on p. 372, lower paragraph, I believe there is a fourth. The facilities must be suitable and the work must be published.
