To the Editor: In the May 1967 ANNALS, the article by Drs. Rosenlund and Oski on "Women in Medicine" and the editorial note "Women In and Out of Medicine" were read with interest. Since Boston University School of Medicine was founded in 1873 when it merged with the New England Female Medical College founded in 1848, a 1965 survey of this school's alumni might be of interest.
Seven hundred thirty-eight of 1,712 alumni from the classes of 1930 through 1960 were board-certified. One hundred forty-five alumni had attained professorial rank in 54 medical schools of the United States.
