The first four chapters of this book are a summary of the general features of allergic diseases and the investigation of these disorders. The information contained in these chapters would be of assistance to many patients with allergic symptoms. The availability of this volume to the patient as a reference source for answers to questions would conserve the practicing allergist's time.
