ELLIS A. FULLER, M.D., F.A.C.P.
A unified method for filing medical literature is presented that can be adapted and individually tailored to meet the needs of physicians of varying disciplines and interests. The system is based on a numbered index that is developed by the user and can be expanded and modified as his medical interests grow and change. Reprints, tear sheets, photostatic copies, etc.—labeled with the appropriate index number—are filed in manila filing folders marked with the same index number. This system has proved to be practical, efficient and easy to maintain, and of great benefit for postgraduate self-training, patient management, writing, teaching, and research.
