Thirty-five papers on geographical, ethnic, genetic, dietary, and emotional factors in hypertension read at a symposium in Chicago in 1964. Also some discussion of natural history and drug effects. Many of the data and points of view presented have been aired at other times and places. The conspicuously delayed publication of this collection should cause no great concern in a field not noted for rapid progress.
Very limited value for the clinician.
