Reprint of short articles published earlier in Postgraduate Medicine. Color illustrations of uneven quality—some are good, and some are very poor. Most chapters provide satisfactory outlines of their topics, but this book is no substitute for a detailed textbook of dermatology. Its value lies in forcing attention on diseases and disorders (such as malignancy, endocrinopathies, dysproteinemias, uremia) that are of interest to nondermatological physicians and produce abnormalities of skin. Bibliographies and an index.
