A survey of applications of genetics to clinical medicine and medical science, including pharmacogenetics, genetic influences in common diseases, blood groups and definition of ethnic groups, chromosomal abnormalities, Mendelian patterns of disease, and related topics. Definitions and discussion are at a level suited to the reader with good preparation in genetics at the high school level or in general biology at the college level.
