A pregnant woman was treated with vinblastine for Hodgkin's disease. Despite the mother's severe bone marrow suppression from vinblastine at delivery, the fetus demonstrated no significant toxicity. Pharmacologic doses of steroids were unable to protect against an anaphylactic reaction.
