After defining terms in acid-base nomenclature and describing his analytical and statistical methods, Dr. Kildeberg combines surveys of recent and current views with data from his extensive investigations (using the Astrup micromethods) to interpret acid-base phenomena in renal disorders, vomiting (pyloric stenosis), and diarrhea.
This monograph should be in hospital and school libraries. It will be of interest to internists concerned in detail with acid-base pathophysiology.
