A patient with chronic granulocytic leukemia who was suspected of having a lymphoma of the spleen with subsequent leukemic extension to the peripheral blood, bone marrow, and central nervous system is presented. This case is compared with others previously reported in the literature, and the pathogenesis of concomitant myeloproliferative and lymphoproliferative disorders is discussed.
