Here is another book that all physicians and lawyers should read. Any physician, regardless of how insular his practice may be, can be confronted with an accident or with a patient with the sudden onset of psychosis. Mr. Chayet has produced a book that fills a current void in this field and that is very readable and inexpensive; he is a practicing attorney, a lecturer at Boston University Law School and Tufts Medical School, and contributes to the "Law & Medicine Notes" in the New England Journal of Medicine.
