Two patients had Schönlein-Henoch syndrome and focal glomerulonephritis. Transient diminution of renal function, measured by endogenous creatinine clearance, is documented with each exacerbation of the skin lesion. The prevalence of this phenomenon and its cause and prognostic import are unknown. Further evaluation of the renal involvement in Schönlein-Henoch syndrome is needed.
