In preparing this volume the author's stated purpose has been to review and evaluate the vast amount of data that has appeared in the scientific literature during the past two decades concerning the pathologic physiology of hematopoiesis and hematologic diseases. Over 3,000 references are included in the bibliography.
The book is arbitrarily divided into three parts, although some overlapping does occur. Part I is entitled "Physiopathology of Haemopoiesis."
