After a summary of liver tissue culture methods developed at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, concentrates on the epidemiology, etiology, pathology, immunology, and clinical features of viral hepatitis. The last seven chapters consider in detail the liver involvement in infection with adenoviruses, the San Carlos viruses, and in yellow fever, cytomegalic inclusion disease, green monkey disease, and infectious mononucleosis.
