Range is wide, running from embryology, anatomy, endocrinology, physiology to microbiology, pharmacology, teratogenics, ultrasonics, and computers. The chapters vary conspicuously in pertinence, specificity, and detail; those having to do directly with the reproductive function are very good; other chapters (for example, renal function, protein metabolism, statistics) are light-brush sketches that show little pertinence or adequacy for the aims of the collection as a whole.
