The editors of this book are distinguished contributors to the medical literature on rheumatology. They have enlisted participation from six additional members of The London Hospital and designed this volume on rheumatology primarily for medical student reading. Hence, one would traditionally expect chapters devoted to history-taking, physical examination, laboratory findings, and sections on diagnosis and differential diagnosis of rheumatic disorders.
