A short survey of some aspects of genetics applicable to concepts of "race," with emphasis on polygenic inheritance and genetic basis for variation. Short on genetic differences among ethnic groups and on medical aspects of genetic ethnology. Although the author properly undermines various popular and erroneous concepts of "race," he spends little time on a look at the animal properties of man responsible for the phenomena that the self-flagellating white and the politically aggressive negro rush to label "racism."
Despite its narrow scope and other limitations, this paperback will be useful in medical school libraries.
