A very brief account of human evolution, biological determinants of human communities, physiological controls of human behavior, and other factors that will govern the survival and forms of human society to come. Current hazards are not glossed over, but the author is optimistic on the prospects for man. The brevity of this book accounts for the abstract and dry flavor of most of its text.
Too cursory for use as even an introductory text in human psychobiology but may be helpful as "awareness" reading in medical schools with courses or syllabuses in medical sociology.
