To the editor: The recent brief communication by Dr. Harold Conn concerning "Sudden Scrotal Edema in Cirrhosis" which appeared in the June 1971 issue of the ANNALS brought to mind an interesting experience. While visiting with Dr. Conn during the past year at the West Haven Veterans Hospital, I had the occasion to discuss the phenomenon described in this brief communication.
