In 1969 representatives from 27 countries, including Russia and 5 satellite Iron Curtain countries, met in Stockholm for a WHO conference on the mental health of youth. For reasons unknown to me, the United States was not represented.
If this report reflects accurately the proceedings of the conference, East and West show surprising unanimity in their assertion that much youth unrest is legitimate and healthy.
