The first of these reports, NBS Special Publication 345-2, includes the views, in brief, of federal science agencies and of the health divisions of HEW on the present use of metric units in their jurisdictions and of the probable impact on them of complete metrication.
The second, NBS Special Publication 345-12, includes very short summaries of testimony on the desirability of metrication from the American Medical Association, the American Pharmaceutical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Dental Association, the American Dietetic Association, and other groups in health services and sciences.
