Clinical Simulations is a problem-oriented, self-assessment or programmed textbook primarily designed for medical students. Most of the 22 contributors are faculty members of the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
The author's aim is to offer the medical student or physician an opportunity to test medical judgment and skill in dealing with the complexities of reality, to give him realistic feedback on the consequences of each decision he makes, and to learn from his correct or incorrect approaches, without subjecting himself or his patients to any risk. Twenty cases with various problems have been selected to simulate actual clinical situations
