This second edition again serves as a complement to Beeson and McDermott's textbook (Thirteenth Edition) and depends, to a great extent, on the content of that book to amplify its own text. The text has been rewritten, expanded, and amplified by the addition of a number of disease entities. Four hundred new illustrations have been added, in addition to a new appendix in which disease entities are collected under headings of various radiologic signs for use in differential diagnosis. Preceeding the index in each volume is an alphabetically arranged glossary that explains, for the nonradiologist, the numerous special roentgenologic procedures
